Student Opportunities

The Center for Immigration and Migration Studies (CIMS) offers unique opportunities for GW students to engage in cutting-edge research and studies in the field. Students interested in immigration and migration studies are invited to attend our monthly seminar series; they also can register for the micro-minor in Immigration and Migration Studies. In their senior year, students in the micro-minor give a research presentation at an annual symposium hosted by the center.
